Bernard Magrez acquires Clos des Muraires and Château la Gueiranne in Provence

Vinea Transaction Provence Côte d’Azur has finalized the sale of Clos des Muraires (2010) and Château la Gueiranne (2011) including the new buyer is Bernard Magrez.

Founder of the Bernard Magrez Grands Vignobles group, he is ranked 89th among the greatest fortunes in France. It owns 43 vineyards spread mainly in Bordeaux (including 4 classified Grands Crus) and in nine different countries.

In 2010, he bought Clos des Muraires, a 12 hectare estate in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation at the foot of the Massif des Maures in the town of Le Luc. In 2011, he acquired Château la Gueiranne, 9 ha in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation in the town of Gonfaron.
